Can cats eat fresh tuna (cooked)?

A little

A little cooked tuna is fine; often means mercury and picky eating.

How much

Up to per day 16g about 3 pieces · 1 thumb-tip piece ≈ 5 g

4 kg adult cat, treats ≤10% of ~200 kcal/day

PreparationCooked, occasionally.

Why

Tuna is a large predatory fish that accumulates mercury, and its strong flavour can lead to food refusal. Raw sashimi carries parasite risk.
