Can cats eat mackerel (cooked)?

A little

A little unsalted cooked flesh — salted mackerel is out.

How much

Up to per day 7.1g about 1.4 pieces · 1 thumb-tip piece ≈ 5 g

4 kg adult cat, treats ≤10% of ~200 kcal/day

PreparationFresh, cooked unsalted, deboned.

Why

Oily fish rich in omega-3 but also fatty. Spoiled mackerel can cause histamine poisoning, and salted mackerel is cured. Remove all bones.
