Can cats eat dried pollock (unsalted)?

A little

A few strands of unsalted pet-grade dried pollock make a good treat; human pollock strips are salted.

How much

Up to per day 5g about 5 pieces · 1 strand ≈ 1 g

4 kg adult cat, treats ≤10% of ~200 kcal/day

PreparationUnsalted, soaked, shredded.

Why

Nearly 80% protein dried white fish. Human snacks are salted or seasoned. It's fairly high in phosphorus, so cut back with kidney disease. Soaking adds water.
