Can cats eat cabbage?

A little

A little cooked leaf is fine; more causes gas.

How much

Up to per day 10g about 2 pieces · 1 small leaf ≈ 5 g

4 kg adult cat, treats ≤10% of ~200 kcal/day

PreparationCooked, chopped.

Why

Not toxic, but larger amounts cause gas or diarrhea, and lots of raw cabbage contains compounds that can affect the thyroid.
