Can cats eat bone broth?

A little

Homemade broth with no salt or onion is fine for hydration — not store-bought stock.

How much

Up to per day 36g about 2 pieces · 1 tablespoon ≈ 15 g

4 kg adult cat, treats ≤10% of ~200 kcal/day

PreparationHomemade, fat skimmed, no salt or onion.

Why

Broth can coax low drinkers to take in more water. Store-bought stock and soups often contain salt, onion and garlic. Skim the fat.
