How is it calculated?

Grams a day = daily calories ÷ calories per 100 g × 100. When mixing, calories are split by your chosen share first. Weighing in grams beats cups — a cup of kibble ranges from 80 to 120 g.

Where do I find the food’s calories?

On the back of the pack under "metabolisable energy" or calories. Switch the unit if it says kcal/kg (3,800 kcal/kg = 380 kcal/100 g); for cans you can enter kcal per can and its weight.

What if I mix dry and canned food?

Add food B and choose what share of calories food A covers. Split by calories, not by weight.
